This past year has been a year of learning and growing! For me, one of the big highlights was skiing and climbing on Mt. Shasta and Mt. Rainier. I also really enjoyed running along the Rogue River trail, on the Wild and Scenic section. I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place where we can be in the wilderness in a matter minutes.

MY NEW DOG

this summer my family got a new dog. We all wanted to name her somthing different. My brother wanted to name her Winter, I wanted to name her Shasta, my mom didn't really care and my dad wanted to name her Daisy. Her name turned out to be daisy and it's a good name for her.She is whithe with cream colored ears and is really soft. She can also jump really high. I was excited when I first saw her. It has been four months since I first saw her and she is a really nice dog.

YELAPA,MEXICO
My highlight last year was to go to Yelpa my second time. I really liked going out to dinner every night. Almost every night I went to a different place. I love seeing all the thatched roofs. The people are very friendly there. Even if your a tourist and staying the're they will be your friend. I saw a boy play whith the Mexican kids and he was staying there as long as I was.

2006 MEMORYS IS...

The thing I remeber in 2006 is the day after Christmas Avi came over and him and Ryan went on the roof and throw the Christmas light down to me and I put them in my pocket. At the end I dumed the clips on the counter. There was about 66 clips. It was funny.

San Francico

In November my family went to San Francico for an week. Were in an hotel in north beach. One thing i will tell you about is the fairy ride to Sausalito it was :30-1:00. There was 3 levels the frist one you could not go on the deck but on the 2 and 3 you could. I spent most of my time on the 3 level beccause you could see the sea lions. The driver said "It looks like the sea lions are white because they are dry." I could feel the wind so hard on my face. When the boat stopped the wind went away so fast. I got a little water on my face. It felt good to be relaxed on a big boat. I love d it so much.

Memories:

Skiing.
October 27th.
Scoring the winning run in my baseball team's upset of the then Number 1 seeded team.
Leading my soccer team (and probably the league) in goals.
Going to disneyland.
Going on like six shopping sprees.
Going broke from the sprees.
Getting my mony back.

Feelings:

Skiing made me feel exzilerating
I felt overjoyed at the thought of what our baseball team had just done.
I felt honored when I led my team in goals.
I felt sad when I left Disneyland.
It was awesome strutting around in my new stuff.
I felt broke when I was broke.
And lastly, I felt happy when I got my money back.

This is a story of when i went to stay with my crazy relatives in Finland. It was memerable in a bad way. One of the worst things they did was they locked the car when there summer house is the only civilazation for miles around. Also there house was so fillled with old junk that you could not walk. They have a car about half the size of a subaru and it gets really hot there in the summers plus there cars air conditioning was horrible so it took over an hour for it to start working. This makes me feel like i never want to stay with those with relatives again.

What I remember from 2006 is when we were on our way back from Eagle Mill farm. I was sitting next to Ryan and I started to act crazy for no reason. I don't know why but Lynn came over to me and said " Miles, would you like if every body did that?" so I said "that would be cool!". And Lynn walked away. I wrote about this because it was funny

Economy Contrast/Memories 2006

"And our captain today is the long lost brother of captain Jack Sparrow!” Our tour guide director called. In a short 45-minuet ride we will arrive at Mahoitas for a short snorkel. 45 minuets later.

“You should really have a yellow life jacket,” said the tour guide. “No I’m practically a pro! No I claim a green!” I exclaimed. (Yellows are floaty life jackets, and greens are life jackets, that you blow up if you are in and emergency). “I want to do some serious diving!” I pleaded.

“Fine!” he said. After a short snorkel, in which I saw a bunch of fish which I can’t name and an eel it was very fun! “In about 10 mins we reach Yalapa Bay!” our captain said in a strong Mexican accent. 10 mins later. “Yay! Were here! Now lets hike to the waterfall!” on the way to the waterfall I was surprised by a lot of stuff like: The houses were practikly falling apart, and people were trying to sell me a lot of stuff.

And that was my best memory of 2006 The End

Last ski trip I fell down the bowl!
When it was my turn to ski down I tried to turn around but my skis hit a bump and I flew out of my skis and started sliding down the whole thing (which was about 500 feet)
It was fun yet weird!

After that we took a rinse off we got in the pool it was salt water first they interdose us to the dolphins.
There were two females and one male.
The first thing they did was dance (that was my favorite one)
We had two clap our hands so we did they were cute the next thing was you had to take a fish then feed it.
Then we got free time we got to pet and play with them.
At the end we saw the final finally they did flips it was COOL!!

Memories 2006

One memory I have is when I got my dog Jessie. I was at the pound looking at the dogs with my mom and my babysitter Judy. I felt sad and exited, sad because my other dog Angie got hit by a car and exited because I wondered what kind of dog we would get what it would act like and a lot of other things.

My mom and Judy were arguing about something so I went to go look at the dogs and found a dog that was good with kids cats and other dogs. I told Judy and my mom. We all agreed that we should get this dog, her name was Jessie. we told the ladie at the dog pound we would like to adopt her.
So after about a week we got to take her home I was so exited about getting a new dog

Heather 1-3-07

"Hey Mom can I call Marie?"
"About what?" Said my mom.
"To see if we can have a play day".
"OK" said my mom. I called Marie and she said to come over at 12:00.
“12:00”I told my mom.
She said “ok.”
When it was 12:00 we got in the car and left. After I was there I met her dogs. They were so cute! After that we had no idea what to do. Then Marie thought about going out to the back lot. It was pretty hard to go out there because we had to climb over the fence in the neighbor’s yard but it was all worth it. I had a great time.

Last howloween I went Trick-Or-Treating with Paul. We met up with Conner and Parker. There was a awesome house with ghosts, gravestones and stuff. There was a giant line to go Trick-Or-Treating at the house. We standed in the line for a long time and finaly got to go in. When you first walk in you see dead bodies on the stairs with a bunch of rats eating the bodies. After that you walk into a person contacting the dead. After you go out of there the tour guide tells you the family's history. Later you walk into a room with a bloody clown with a knife in it. Luckily the clown has a cage aroung him. The tour lady asks you if you like candy. Then the cage opens and you have to go into the cage to get the candy. After you get your candy a were wolf jumps out of the bathroom and scares you. It was really fun.

Memories 2006

Going to the Beach

My crazy family decided to go camping to the beach. It was freezing cold. On the first day we went tide pooling and we saw starfish, sea anemones, and crabs. I liked letting the sea anemones eat my fingers. When we were going back up we saw something disgusting. I felt like I was going to barf. It was a dead squid.
That night we were all in bed when suddenly we heard a scratching noise. Our mom came to the door and flung it open and she saw nothing. It felt weird because there was nothing there. My dad and my brother slept right through it.
On the second day we went to the Game Park. We saw tigers, lions, ferrets and lots of other animals. I got to pet the baby animals. There was a cross-eyed opossum, a skunk, and a ferret. I liked the tigers the most because they are my favorite animal.
Day three we went to the beach. I smelled something odd and stepped on a dead seal carcass. I jumped off as soon as I could. I also saw lots of starfish too. That night mom heard scratching noise again. She went to the door and flung it open and she saw a raccoon. The raccoon was trying to get to our food.
Day four we went to look for another campsite to stay at because there are a lot of campsites to stay at on the Oregon Coast. On the last day we went home. I was sad because the town Bandon has my favorite seafood and happy to go home to play with my dogs.

Oh, I forgot to say, that there is at least 2 teachers outside, but they don`t pay attention to what you do, so we play a game called chat et souris (cat and mouse) where you try running to the other side of the playground without getting caught. the way you get caght is by having a cat grab you and stop you, not tag, but grab. The cactus was not poky.
